We are really excited to gift these to the collection because contemporary photography is an area the Gallery is looking to grow, and these artists were not represented in the collection. These artworks will help develop the collection, so all New Zealand art history is represented in the collection, from historic to contemporary. Ultimately the collection continues to grow to help inspire, engage and challenge visitors today and into the future.
