What an exciting few months at the Aigantighe. We really enjoyed celebrating the exhibition openings of Helen Willcock back in May.
We also look forward to an exciting collaborative exhibition with The Physics Room, opening on Saturday 8 September at 2pm.
On Thursday 6 September at 5.30pm we have our AGM where we will be proposing amendments to our constitution If you would like to read the Constitution before the AGM, please request it by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
We have a new exciting project that we are working towards with the Aigantighe team: a series of signs along our coastal walking track that features reproductions from the Gallery’s Permanent Collection. We hope to launch this project later this year.
Finally, I would like to thank our committee, Friends members and the gallery team for their support while I have been in the President’s seat. This has been my second stint as President. Together we have achieved so much - ultimately helping the love for the arts to grow in our community. I wish the new elected President of the Friends of the Aigantighe Art Gallery at the AGM all the best.
